Fees & Funding

Our daycare runs on a sessional basis, these sessions are:

Morning Session

  • Runs from 8am to 1pm
  • Includes breakfast, morning snack and lunch

Afternoon Session

  • Runs from 1pm to 6pm
  • Includes afternoon snack, tea and sleep time if needed
  • Nursery fees are payable monthly in arrears
  • A refundable deposit of 1 weeks childcare fees is payable upon registration, this may go towards your last month's fees
  • A non-refundable registration fee of £60 per family is charged to secure your child's place

 

The nursery will close on bank holidays and over the Christmas holidays.


Free Childcare for 2, 3 and 4 year olds + Financial Support

Funded early years places and extra financial support can be obtained to help ease the pressures of childcare costs. All of the below options can be found on www.childcarechoices.gov.uk. Management can provide support in applying if needed. At Tiny Town Daycare the offer will be over 38 weeks per year, which is according to local authority term time schedule

15 hours for 3 and 4 year old children

All children receive 15 hours per week of free childcare starting the term after their 3rd birthday from the local authority.

30 hours for 3 and 4 year old children for working parents

Children of working parents receive 30 hours per week of free childcare starting the term after their 3rd birthday from the local authority. Both parents (or single parent) must be working more than 16 hours per week and earn individually, less than £100,000 per year. You may still be eligible if you aren't able to work for other reasons, you can check this at the above website.

15 hours for 2 year old children: Where the family receives additional government support

Families in receipt of additional government support or benefits may be eligible for 15 hours free childcare from the term after their 2nd birthday. You can check on the above website or provide your information on our application form and we can check for you.

Extended funding for working parent starting 2024/2025

  • April 2024 - 15 hours per week for 2 year old children (application have opened)
  • September 2024 - 15 hours per week for babies from 9 months
  • September 2025 -30 hours per week for all eligible children from 9 months

What is Tax-Free Childcare Scheme?

Tax-Free Childcare is a scheme which will offer working families 20% support towards qualifying childcare costs. This is in addition to the funded hours. For more information, or to apply, follow the above website.

Once you have completed the online application, please provide nursery with the code and your national insurance number. We will activate the code and confirm place.

If you are using only the funded 15 hours or 30 hours, there will be no deposit required, however, if you require more hours the deposit and registration fee will be payable upon registration of those extra hours. The saving of those funded hours will be evident in your invoices each month.
